The Matterhorn Inn is quintessential Vermont Inn located directly on route 100 and the VAST snowmobile trail system. The Matterhorn Inn sits on several spacious acres with a babbling brooke bordering the property giving visitors that true Vermont country ambiance. The Matterhorn Inn has been a staple in the Deerfield Valley since the 1960‘s and continues to do so with its involvement of events and activities. With its 31 guest rooms, 65 person Restaurant, Bar, and Mobile catering abilities the Matterhorn Inn is ready for just about any type of gathering which may be held on or off of the property.
THE GREAT ROOM. Welcome to the heart of the Matterhorn Inn. Feel right at home while you're on vacation. Everyone who stays at the Matterhorn Inn, ends up in our Great Room. Equipped with a large stone fireplace, it is the perfect place to roast marshmallows or just to keep warm on a cold winters night. Sip drinks at our bar, play a game or two of pool, challenge a new friends to a game of chess, put a puzzle together with your children or, just relax and do nothing at all. Our loft is a great place for some down-time, chatting or reading. Don't forget to take a look at our camel and our chandelier made out of ski's that once resided at the original Mount Snow Lodge.

We serve American and European cuisine. Chopin Restaurant serves everything from Black Angus steak to kielbasa and pierogi. Chopin Restaurant is a great place to come with friends and catch up on old times. With classical music playing in the background, you're in for a relaxing evening. Don't forget to have an after dinner drink at our "Safety Bar" in the Great Room.
Once a month, Chopin Restaurant would like to introduce you to a Polish cuisine. Enjoy a delicious menu of only Polish food. Try our all-you-can-eat buffet with homemade foods such as kielbasa, pierogi, golabki (stuffed cabbage) and lots more. Every item on the buffet comes from the family recipes made by OUR family. BUS: No Greyhound Bus access to West Dover or Wilmington
TRAIN: Closest Amtrak stations are Brattleboro and Albany. Transportation from Amtrak stations to Dover is either cab or rental car.
